!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I need something to record my driveway and the front of my house and maybe the entrances inside. The DVR goes in the garage, so the distance to the outdoor cameras is very short. I just need to find something that’ll do the job and not cost an arm and a leg. Some Oppos have told me that Lorex is a decent brand.

I would suggest something that records to the cloud, and will send you an alert when something happens. I’m happy with my Ring Floodlight Cam.

Alerts are important. I get motion alerts on my phone, and I can contact the police immediately. Unfortunately where I live, if they don’t catch them in the act, the police will just write a report and never really follow up. It’s really hard to identify people via footage, unless they are already well known by the police.
